How Did We Get Here?

As long-time residents of Queens, we really ended up in Port Washington by accident. We were looking for a smaller place, and we took the first place we saw; a cute two-bedroom apartment with a fireplace on a quiet dead-end street. My husband and I have been in Port (as it's known on LI) a little over a year, and we love it here.

I created this blog to showcase the stores, restaurants, and other businesses we've come to know, and to discover new ones. As I am now a Realtor at Keller Williams of Greater Nassau, I'd also like to give residents and want-to-be residents a resource for real estate information, home buying, selling, maintenance, decorating, and other home-related topics.
