Best-selling Author Visits Port Washington

#1 New York Times bestseller Philippa Gregory visits Port Washington on Monday, October 17 at 7:30 pm to speak and sign books at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre at Landmark on Main Street (232 Main Street). The event is free and open to the public.

Gregory will discuss her new novel, The Lady of the Rivers (on-sale October 18) and recent non-fiction book, The Women of the Cousins’ War (on-sale September 13, coauthored by David Baldwin and Michael Jones).

With 9 million copies of her books in print, Gregory has brought the Tudor court to vibrant life through novels including The Other Boleyn Girl. Now, in The Cousins’ War series, she introduces readers to the noble family that preceded the Tudors, the Plantagenets—a dynasty rife with complex rivalries, loves, and hatreds—as she chronicles the turbulent years of strife most commonly known as the Wars of the Roses.

In The Lady of the Rivers, Gregory masterfully weaves passion, adventure, and witchcraft into the story of Jacquetta, Duchess of Bedford, who would survive two reigns and two wars to become the first lady at the rival courts of both Lancaster and York. Visit Simon & Schuster for more information.

Visit Simon & Schuster for more information.

Don't miss this great free event!
