Stannards Brook Park is a unique natural oasis in Port
Washington. The Port Washington Parks Conservancy (PWPC) has worked
for over five years with Nassau County, neighbors, and friends to plan this 1
million dollar rehabilitation and restoration project. Funding for the
project was secured through the Nassau County Environmental Bond Act, the New
York State Environmental Protection Fund, and a Town of North Hempstead grant. TO LEARN MORE OR TO BECOME A FRIEND OF THE PARK, a 501(c)(3) ORGANIZATION, PLEASE EMAIL THE PWPC at pwparksconservancy@gmail.com or write to P.O. Box 386, Port Washington, NY 11050.
