Stannards Brook Park is a unique natural oasis in Port Washington. The Port Washington Parks Conservancy (PWPC) has worked for over five years with Nassau County, neighbors, and friends to plan this 1 million dollar rehabilitation and restoration project. Funding for the project was secured through the Nassau County Environmental Bond Act, the New York State Environmental Protection Fund, and a Town of North Hempstead grant.
